Busy-Ass Saturday...
I'm basically booked the entire day. I like having these hectic days every now and again. It makes things fun.
First, getting up at 4:45, checking my emails and such, jump in the shower, and go to McD's to work a 5:30-10:30. I feel a little bad for them; the lunch rush is the busiest we get all year...and I'm not going to be there...again. Last year, I casually walked in to talk to my dad. He wasn't very happy about it.
Anyways, going to watch the parade, afterwards, at my grandparents' place on Cass Street. It's convenient to have the free parking during the festival. During the parade, however, I'm stuck parking at RiteAid. A bit of a walk, but I'll manage........hopefully, unless my weak body can't handle the difficult half-mile journey...
After that, I'll go about wandering the streets, looking at knickknacks and hang out with friends...that kinda thing.
After THAT...I'll go to my OTHER grandparents' place on Woodbeck Lake for our usual Post-Festival festivities, which amounts to playing volleyball, swimming, and me kicking ass and taking names at a ferocious game of Scrabble, usually with my aunt's current foreign exchange student as one of the players.
Grandma Coston is having her birthday party in Belding that night, but I think I'm going to skip it. I told her that I'd DEFINITELY be coming to visit her on Monday, which is when her actual birthday is. I'll have to treat her out...
So, now that I have all that rambling out of the way...I'm going to sleep. It's in my best interest to not doze off and fall onto the grill. I've been out of it and leaned on it with my hand for a fraction of a second, before...not the best feeling. >_>
