Paaaiiiin...

Having my two bottom wisdom teeth yanked out of my head has made this week suck just a tad.

Anesthetics were pretty cool, as usual. It's strange to be strapped down to a chair one minute, then, all of a sudden, you can only make out voices. One of the voices sounds familiar...it's your mother. She's talking to you. She's telling you to try harder to sit up straight and not fall over out of the chair. The other lady is unfamiliar, but you can assume it's a nurse, since she speaking of what I'm gonna feel for the next week. After that, they both walk you out to the car, put you in the passenger seat, and you drive off. You regain your grasp on reality, start listening to The Beatles on your iPod, and wonder what the hell happened...

Yeah, something like that...

Anyways, it's been a strict diet of soft foods, which has amounted to applesauce, ice cream, soup, and mashed potatoes for the last week. I'll tell you one thing: that stuff gets REAAAALLY old after the first couple of days.

Pain is still there, but I've been greatly improving. I didn't wake up with a stomach ache and the taste of blood in my mouth this morning, so I guess that's a plus. Vicodin makes me sick, so it's been a little hard recovering. Ibuprofen works just as well, I guess...

I'm really hoping I'll be able to start eating more by next week. Every ad on TV looks sooooo tasty!

;_;

Suuuuck...

Ugh...this weekend was just terrible...

Friday started out with me driving to Carson City to get my car fixed. It was estimated to be about $120, but I needed MORE DONE, so it came to $200. It took about an hour and a half to get it all done, which left me with said amount of time to pace back and forth a half mile stretch over and over and over. I did get stopped by a cop car roaming the streets asking me if I'm supposed to be in school.

After that, I needed to buy Mother's Day cards. Not so bad, but noticing I was missing a hubcap (AGAIN) on my way back to the car. I'm thinking it's the same exact tire as well...WHAT THE HELL!?

At least I got to spend the weekend with my family....oh...wait, I forgot...I hate spending time with my brother for over 20 minutes. He annoyed me the ENTIRE WEEKEND! Trever felt the need to whine, bitch, and snap at everyone about every little thing that he didn't like. I love him, Mom, and Matt, but the three of them together over an extended period of time drives me to my breaking point...

Annnywaaays, the weekend is over with and I get to go back to the pure isolation of my basement. Sooo gooood...mmmm....

(Oh fuck, I'M TJ!!!)

Friday...

Tomorrow, my plans were to go to Waterford, see Mike Lindsay, Alan, and Sam, go to Royal Oak (their hangout place), go to a BARENAKED LADIES concert (free event to promote their CD), then just do whatever for the rest of the day.

Unfortunately, I found out my car has issues, so all of that is thrown out. Instead, I'll be in Carson City at 10am getting a few hundred dollars in repairs done and having nothing to do during the couple hours of maintenance, since Carson City is a God-forsaken town with little to offer.

I was really excited to go, too...

I'll be going to Detroit Saturday with Mom, Matt, and Trever, with a car ride spent adding a few more hours to my Pokemon Firered game. We're going to see the Tigers play the Yankees. It'll be good stuff, unless my brother drives me insane...

That's pretty likely, though...

Sophomore...

I'm officially done with my Freshman year of college. The ride was absolutely amazing! I was worried about the fact that the people from Greenville who came up here were mere acquaintances and I'd have to try and....socialize...*shudders*...

But really, BEST YEAR EVER! Living outside Greenville and meeting the people that I have has been amazing! It's gonna suck going back home, but at least there's Great Wall waiting for me...
