My Time In Greenville...
Y'know, I bitched a lot about being home. About it being boring, how the town had nothing to do in it, how most people I knew had either found escape from this hellhole, or were just busy with their lives (no offense to those people, though; having shit to do is understandable), and that I'd rather have my nose in a math textbook at CMU than stay another minute here.
This would be the part where I have a change of heart, realizing all the good that's taken place over the last month, and say that I'll miss having to pack my stuff and leave this town.
But really, that'd be a total lie. It really has been a terrible month. Coming to the realization that you have about three friends left back home - one who's always busy, one who's usually states away, and one who's so apathetic towards everything you wonder where you stand in his book - is not a comforting thought at all.
In honesty, I can't wait to drive away from this place. Only one summer left to go, then I'll be living in an apartment, with family obligations the only thing dragging me back.
Goodbye, Greenville. You won't be missed.

Not that I totally make up for the shittiness of Greenville or anything.
Yaaaay for counting. And I would say that you were definitely a good addition to my break as well.
I totally understand about Greenville being shitty no matter what, however. Trust me. Be happy you've got somewhere else to go.
Now I feel bad for missing the thing at James'. :(
