Football...

Well, tonight was our big football game. I...think we won? We ended up leaving at the end of the 3rd Quarter, with the score 23-6, so it's a good chance we did.

Today was the first day I actually didn't feel like my body hated me, which was a very good thing, considering I've felt that way since a full week BEFORE moving back up to CMU.

On a side note, I had a drunk girl grab my ass a couple of times. She kept on blaming it on her friend to the side of her. It was pretty funny, actually. I ended up pinching back, and blamed it on the same friend, but I'm pretty sure she ended up getting punched. In the vag...

O_O

I didn't get a chance to catch her name, though. Drat...

And on a separate side note, I stole a bag of hot dog buns at tailgating. Why? They were there for the taking, of course...

Welcome Weekend...

Well, I'm (mostly) settled into our room. There's still a lot of boxes everywhere, since we're INCREDIBLY lazy.

Mike and Alan having been partying since the moment they moved in. I, on the other hand, seem to be fighting some sort of flu or something. I'm not exactly sure, but hopefully it'll just pass, so I'm obviously not too worried about it.

I might have to drive to Greenville today, which would suck royally. My third roommate, Shubes, might not be coming this semester, meaning my afternoon would be spent driving back home and getting stuff we were needing him to bring.

I hope he comes...HE HAS AN HDTV!!!

Anniversary...

As of...actually, yesterday for me...I've been with Blogger for one year.

I like it better than Xanga, but Xanga offered stuff that this place doesn't. I've been thinking of moving off to WordPress, but I've learned that I don't need luxuries such as text that can be underlined and struck out...

...and also, I'm incredibly lazy...

Scholarship...

Over Memorial Weekend, my mom and her friend were telling me about a scholarship through their previous boss, the Stan and Blanche Ash Foundation Scholarship. The foundation is responsible for the M-TEC Center behind Greenville High School, as far as other thing.

Two months waaay later than I should have acted (aka: two weeks ago), I decided to apply for this scholarship, even though it's only available for high school seniors. I talked to the counselor in the high school, which left me late for work and only knowing the home address of Blanche Ash...

So I wrote HER a letter!

Today, I got a letter back from the foundation. I got $1000 for this semester! Even better, the scholarship can be renewed for the next 3 years, as long as I keep over a C+ average!

WOOOO!!!

One More Week...

Well, ten more days, really. I'm excited to go back to school. Greenville has just been pretty dull the last few months. I work most of the time, then hang out with either TJ, Nikki, or Gia on my days off. While they definitely provide me with fun and entertainment, there's not a whole lot of variety here.

In fact, there's something I've been discussing with my dad that I should mention: I might be staying in Mt. Pleasant once I get an apartment, which could be as early as the end of this school year.

There's opportunities during the summer I want to check out, like a mathematics internship, which could be a good thing to join. Two of my roommate, Mike Lindsay and Shubes, are going down the mathematics road, so if I can get them to stay during the summer with me, that's what I'll be doing.

Of course, I'd still be an hour and a half from home, but this could possibly be my last summer in Greenville. Minus the ties I have here, that's not such a bad thought, really.

Speaking of last summers, I just remembered that this is my last summer as a teenager. Scary. It was actually a pretty good summer, overall (not to get confused with my first paragraph - Greenville sucks, not the summer). A trip to Detroit, Mt. Pleasant, and Muskegon (twice)...not too shabby.

Looking Ahead...

September 16th will be a VERY good day!

Ok, so I'll still have to deal with my classes, and since it's a Tuesday, it'll be my longest day.

However, that aside, the fifth season of House, along with Ben Folds' newest album, 'Way to Normal' will be coming out that day!

WOO!!!
